South West Leather Conference
The Southwest Leather Conference- In its fourth year has risen
within the National Leather Community and recognized as the Leather Family
Gathering of Heart and Spirit for its emphasis on interpersonal and spiritual
dynamics with BDSM relationships and SM ritual practices. The event is owned by
Butchman’s Inc, currently seeking 501c3 status as a not for profit educational
organization. The 3 day weekend event is held in Phoenix Arizona and is made
possible through the volunteer partners of our neighbor states and the various
regional leather clubs, organizations and individuals. SWLC provides a vehicle
for all regional leather organizations to gather and share the heart and spirit
of their respective groups.
The event is dedicated to the promotion of sex positive educational, spiritual and emotional dynamics inherent in BDSM relationships through contests, workshops and community outreach opportunities on a national level through networks developed in the southwest region. The Southwest region includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. The event is a gathering of the leather families throughout the country in celebration of the leather tribe which we are all a part. The Logo for SWLC is inspired by the regions primitive native cultures and the celebration of creativity and life brought out in the image of a sunburst. The compass surrounding the Yin Yang, symbolizes the leather paths we follow and the spirit shared in D/s. http://www.southwestleather.org/
